i’m totally guilty of tumblr neglect. so ashamed. i have to admit I’ve gotten a bit wrapped up in pinterest as of late. but tumblr is still my online first love! having said that, there’s lots happening in my life these days. most of the time it doesn’t feel like it - but whenever I take the time to mentally roll through the list it feels overwhelming. great things are happening and i’m so incredibly blessed.
i’ve given jorts a hard time but this is a very cute outfit that i could see myself wearing this summer.

read this article with four great real-girl-looks to take away from nyfw and it has made me want a pair of (faux) leather leggings so badly. i was at macy’s last week and saw a pair and thought to myself, “really? when are you going to wear leather leggings? you’re not kim kardashian.” but now i’ve thought of at least 6 places where i should be wearing these adorable little ditties. which essentially means that i need to go back to the store and at least try them on… right?

going running for the first time since my last race 2 weeks ago. after i finished that one, my hips were in sooo much pain it almost put me off running for good… almost. doing the insanity workout has been such a big help when it comes to strengthening my bottom half though, so i’ll definitely keep on running, getting stronger and moving this li’l body. since it’s nearly march already, i guess i’ll need to start focusing on getting my beach-body ready for showcasing! (hint hint.. i’m totally ready. bring on the sunshine, sandals and swim suits!)
